Report of Officers:
President: There will be a after action meeting for Settlers Day weekend
Vice President: Thank you for the clean up help, and all the help on Settlers Day
2nd Vice President: Report Given
Treasurer: Report Given
Membership: Please keep track of your probationary hours, any difference in hours please contact me. The following applicants have been placed on the bottom of the wait list. Nicholas Vitorino, David Vitorino, Saggal Abdalla. Right now, there are 55 on the wait list and 9 new members with no hours.
Secretary: No Report
Auditors: all caught up till August, and they are prepping for annual audit. Brian will be stepping down as Auditor. We will need someone to step up and take the spot.
CRO: Thanks for all the help on Settlers Day, there will be a after action meeting of all the disciplines after the monthly meeting. Still investigating the incident that happened at the indoor pistol range. CRO has been trying to get a hold of the person his phone # was no good and there has been no answer to emails. His access card has been shut off till he gets in touch with the person.
Trap: Thank you everyone for the help on Settlers Day
Archery / Jr Archery: a motion was made and 2nd to allow RIFAA shoots at the Archery Range, 11-4, 12-9-2023, and 2-24-2024. And to any new member Archery is fun too and can always get hours at Jr. Archery as a helper.
Single Action Shooters: Oct 21 is the next shoot.
Pistol League: A motion was made and 2nd to use the pistol range on Mondays from October 2, 2023, till April 29, 2024 for the .22 pistol league, and have requested the hall for May 13 for their banquet. Passed
2nd Amendment / Federated: motion was made and 2nd to purchase 10 tickets for the 2nd Amendment Banquet at Wrights farm. Motion passed. Friends of the NRA are also having a banquet.
Training: Ray will be contacting members who signed up for the RO class. It will be held November 19, 2023, at the upper range.
Kitchen: This month 29 members were served breakfast. The game dinner will be moving to March from February. Still working on the best plan for new freezer for the kitchen.
Settlers Day: Report was given with the weather looming a profit was still made by the club. Settlers Day 2024 September 28&29, 2024.
IT/Club Store: If you need access to the Web site you can do it from the main page, contact us and Mike will get back to you.
New Business: Russ is stepping down and we need a replacement for Treasurer position. Brian will be posting the nomination list for next month’s meeting for nominations. Then the vote will be next month.
The 6 Trap Guns are at John’s house being cleaned.
Patty suggested that in order to get some of the new members involved, that we open the bylaws and look into changing the amount of meetings you attend and possibly doing hours past your probation year.
Jack is stepping down from the Federated, a member is needed to take over Jack has been doing it for 40 years now.
Some one was concerned that items were missing on the range, broom, shovel, and brass bucket. CRO Ray will check after the meeting to make sure it is all there.
