Monthly Meeting
June 2nd, 2024
Meeting called to order 9:00am
Moment of silence for Linda Warhal
Roll Call of Office all present except CRO, Mike Carderilli and Evan Dextrase
Minutes were unable to be posted due to a problem with the secretary’s computer
email.
Motion from the floor to suspend with the reading of the minutes till they
are posted. Motion was 2 nd and passed
Report of the Officers:
President: The Town of Lincoln will not be abandoning the property that is
adjacent to the club to the man who was trying to get it from the town.
Amiee made a motion for a committee to investigate Land Acquisition for the club
motion was 2 nd and passed. Nick will Head the committee
Vice President: if anyone needs hours see Gerry please text or call him he does
not do emails.
2 nd Vice President: Report Given
Treasurer: Report Given
Membership: There were 6 Applications, 3 were clean and 3 need to research and
will get back to the club next month. Mark Vicent, Gavin Mendall, Joshua
Dellinger. Motion was made and 2 nd to place them to the bottom of the wait list.
Passed. Wait list up to 29. At the end of the meeting this was updated John
O’Brian was added to the bottom of the list also the member who sponsored him
cleared things up.
Secretary: Hall rentals 7/20/24 Egale Scout Reception 12-5pm, 9/7/24
Engagement Party 3-8pm, 8/25/24 Wedding shower 10- 4pm, Radio club 9/9,
10/7, 11/4, and 12/2/24.
Auditors: March and April are done.
CRO: Progressing If there are any problems always reach out to Ray or the E
Board. Also, if someone needs qualifications after a meeting in July and August
please reach out several weeks in advance to make sure someone can quality you do
to the weather and not a lot of members at the meeting.
Trap: Report Given
Archery: Report Given we are trying to get the room open as soon as possible.
Amiee made a motion to rent the air scrubber should not be more than $500.00.
Motion was made 2 nd and passed.
Pistol League: Progressing
High Power Rifle: Report given on the new Shot Maker System that is being used
at the competition.
Tomahawk and Knife Throwing: Progressing To new Members the Tomahawks are
available for use in the archery room.
2 nd Amendment Collision: June 23 at the Ashaway Club in South County $35.00
Steak and Shrimp, and $10.00 for Shot Gun Raffle. The money goes to the legal
fund. Frank Soccoia will be stepping down as our lobbyist and will be concentrating
on the lawsuits.
Federated: Same Report as above but they need a membership Chairman
Training: Report Given Archery Proficiency that was held went very well.
NRA: Report Given from Jack
Planning and Finance: In old business will be asking about bids for the AC
replacement in kitchen.
Inventory: All disciplines will be getting a printed out list of the inventory that
they are supposed to have, and will file all this with secretary also.
Kitchen: No Breakfast for July and August. Breakfast starting in September will
be going up to $10.00. The Fryolator needs a thermal coupling will fall under
normal maintenance and will be taken care of.
Entertainment: August 24 6:00 Chicken Barbeque $35.00 a ticket see Matt there
are only 125 tickets. They will need helpers. Looking into a pig roast for Spring.
Settlers Day: Progressing
IT: Pat made a motion to buy google licenses for 5 emails will be $400.00 for the
year. Motion was 2 nd and passed. Report Given
Club Store: If you want something from the store reach out to Jerry
Grievance: Progressing
Unfinished Old Business: Be aware of the Safe Storge Bill that’s on the floor
now.
The President made a motion to replace the AC unit for the kitchen not to exceed
$13,000 with the finance committee going through the 3 bids that we have.
Motion made was 2 nd and passed. There were 3 nays.
