Monthly Meeting Minutes

May 1, 2022

Meeting called to order at: 9:15

Moment of silence for members who passed,
Walter Daignault and George Roy

Roll call of officers: all present except 2nd Vice President Ron Pouliot

The April Minutes were not posted, they will be posted along with Mays Minutes.

Report of Officers

President: No Report

1st Vice President: May 14, 2022, will be cleanup the grounds day. Bring string trimmers if you have them. Cleanup will start at 9:00 am meet at the garage at the upper range. During the cleanup all outdoor ranges will be closed.

There was a motion made and passed to put a set of wheels on one of the range tables to see if easier to move tables around.

Treasurer: Report given

Membership: 6 new applications for membership motion was made and 2nd to add them to the bottom of the list.

Secretary: No report

Auditors: Report Given

Chief Range Officer: Progress on the Range Rules update.

Trap: Report given

Archery: No Report

Jr. Archery: No Report

High Power Rifle: Motion made and seconded to allocate $35.00 for Chris Wyatt for the RI High Power Rifle League Membership fee.

Tomahawk: Progressing

Second Amendment Coalition: Report Given

Federated: Report Given Federated Game Dinner is Oct3,2022 See Jack Peters if interested in tickets. May 7,8 Open fishing day in RI no fishing license. There was a fishing Derby to be held at Riverside, it was cancelled due to Covid.

Motion made and seconded to host NRA First Shoots at the club, on June 25, 2022. Using .22 caliber pistol and rifle, range 1 and 2 will be closed for the day.

Settlers Day: Progressing

IT: Progressing

Club Store: Off subject Mark said thank you for all the help after the fire at his home.

Unfinished Old Business: None

New Business: Motion made and seconded to let Jack Peters take club poles to the fishing derby.

Jessica de la Cruz RI Senator will be here before the next meeting.

Motion made and seconded to wave all range fees and hold a Mini Settlers Day for the Veteran’s through the Dare To Dream Ranch. Will be held July 17, 2022.  Motion was also made and passed to close all ranges for July 17, 2022. This will be a good way for new members to get some of their hours.
